About Mill Hall, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Mill Hall is a Clinton County, Pennsylvania borough, and as of 2010 this community was home to approximately 1,600 residents. This community is found on both sides of Fishing Creek, and U.S. Route 220 passes through the community. Mill Hall is about three miles away from Lock Haven, which is the county seat, and it is small geographically with only 0.95 square miles of total area, all of which consists of land.

Although Mill Hall is a small community, there are a few notable attractions located here. The Spook Haven Haunted House is a popular destination during the autumn months, and the Mill Hall Community Pool gets a lot of traffic during the warm summer months. Golf enthusiasts may like to book a tee time at Belles Springs Golf Course, and accessories can be purchased from Baney’s Golf and Sport Shop. There are a variety of shopping destinations found in the community, including Flowers by Monica, Peters Marine, Mill Hall Pharmacy, and Bloomies on the Blvd.

Mill Hall is part of a humid continental climate zone, which is typical of central Pennsylvania. The area will experience four distinct seasons, starting with a cold winter. Compared to other areas in the U.S., this region is dry, but it will see a mix of snow, sleet, and rain with the occasional heavy snowstorm. About 30 days each season will see temperatures that fail to reach the freezing point, so residents will rely on their heat pump or home furnace system to stay safe during this time.

Summers in the area tend to be very warm with high humidity. Average high temperatures in July will reach the low 80s, but about 15 days per year will see thermostat readings that exceed 90 degrees. A central air conditioning unit will be a great investment during these months, and when operating properly, these energy efficient appliances can help residents to save on their monthly energy costs.
