About Beech Creek, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Clinton County, PA, Beech Creek is a borough with about 700 residents. This community is found in the southwestern portion of the county along the northeast side of Beech Creek. Pennsylvania Route 150 runs through the community, leading to the nearby towns of Lock Haven and Milesburg. Beech Creek was the setting for the New York Times bestseller Fun Home, a graphic memoir written by Alison Bechdel.

As a small community, there are very few attractions found in Beech Creek. However, there are a couple of notable restaurants, including Brothers Pizza and Beech Creek Furst Corner Restaurant. Lukens Market and the Beech Creek Uni Mart are also located in the community. Other attractions are found in nearby communities, including outdoor recreational areas like Bald Eagle State Park and Sproul State Forest. Nearby Lock Haven is also home to attractions like Schaefers Winery and the Clinton County Raceway.

Beech Creek is part of a humid continental climate area, and it features four distinct seasons. Summers are very warm and humid with the occasional heat wave. Average high temperatures in July, which is the hottest month of the year, reach about 82 degrees, but the record high was 103 degrees Fahrenheit. During these months, most residents will run their central air conditioning units, and in order to ensure that these appliances will work properly when needed, it is recommended that they invest in regular maintenance with an experienced HVAC technician.

Winters in Beech Creek are snowy and cold. January is the coldest month of the year, and while average high temperatures will just barely surpass the freezing point, average lows will fall to about 18 degrees. The city gets around 46 inches of snow each season, so a heat pump or furnace will be essential to making it through these cold months safely.
